Alpn Zirben

This is the pure essential oil of Zirben. It has many different names - 'Queen of the Alps', Mountain pine, Swiss stone pine. Pinus Cembra is the latin name. The slow growing tree grows in the high altitudes of the Alps. It is only the naturally fallen trees that can be used for the distillation of essential oil.

This essential oil is 100% pure, nothing else added. It has a beautiful distinctive smell, not really like normal pine. A bit more woody but fresh as the same time.

A wonder oil - one of the most diverse natural remedies and has been used for many centuries. Soothing, calming and cleansing. This helps the body to regenerate itself during rest periods and enhances mental equilibrium and resilience and is a blessing for body and soul.

We sprinkle a few drops onto the guest pillows in Alpnhaus and Heimlig. We also refresh the sachets filled with lavender and zirben that are on the radiators. You can also use it in your vaporiser or diffuser. It is also useful against moths - add some drops to a sachet and hang in your wardrobe.

PS This oil is more liquid than other essential oils so it can come from the dropper more rapidly.
