Ninety minutes transports us to another more magical world. The wildness and Winter dark accentuate the comfort and coory of Alpnhaus. The cold and wind and rain is the perfect contrast to the warmth, love and attention of Christa and Del. It feels so intimate her - on so many levels - so close to nature, close to Christa and Del and their realised dream, close to each other as we slow down and breathe. To finish our stay, reading the guest book is, as always, an inspiration and invitation to the next special stay.

Absolutely stunning chalet. As soon as we stepped in we were transported to the Alps! Everything was so easy and convenient. The first night was wild so we didn’t use the hot tub but it was a great opportunity to just relax, disconnect from the world and take this amazing place in.
Breakfast was just wow - a great start to the day and to top it off we got a little visit from the local stoat which made my morning - such a cheeky chap!
Watching the birds at the feeder was so relaxin whilst watching the mist clear from the trees.

Alpnhaus really is THE dream cabin in the woods. We can’t imagine a better way to spend the morning than a magical misty dog walk to return to the most EPIC breakfast hamper. It was perfect sitting out to enjoy it blessed with sun and birds.
